"Any idea how these aprons and bags work?"

Everyone had to go through a brief sales orientation and product demonstration prior to going out into the crowd.

And then some decided it was immediately time for a break... <smile>

Friend of the EHS Blue Devils, Mix102.9 DJ JJ Stevens and his parents who had come up from Florida.

Bobby Straley and his assistant Monica were our bosses for the two nights of RiverFest.

Selling these products was quite a handful of responsibility, but everyone managed to have a good time as well.

Seems like you'd be scared not to buy something from this motley crew!

We even had help from an EHS football player, as Nathan Lawder teamed up with the Band Boosters to assist us in our efforts!

Steven and Allison were really enjoying the music of The Commodores!

Who says that Moms aren't COOL?

Our RiverFest fundraiser was quite profitable, despite the rain on Friday night and the unusually low temperature and wind on Saturday night.

Friday night, we sold a total of $820.00 in merchandise and on Saturday night, we sold $1,666.00. Our share of that was (Friday) $220.00, and (Saturday) $310.00. In addition, the vendor gave us $20.00 to pay the second place winners. We had already planned to pay the top selling student each night a cash prize of $20.00.

Student Top Sales:

Friday night -- Maegan Gargus, first place; and Alex Whaley, second place.

Saturday night -- Maegan Gargus, first place (with $242.00 in sales); and the team of Rachel Beauford & Nathan Lawder coming in second place (with $220.00 in sales).

Adult Top Sales:

Friday night -- we had too many adults, so these worked two at a time on the same team -- Mark du Pont, Louise Phillips, Nancy Stevenson, and Becky Lawder (with $224.00 in sales).

Saturday night -- Char Edwards & Becky Lawder (with $274.00 in sales).

Many thanks to everyone who worked hard in very tough conditions to make this weekend payoff!
